Mobile Computing has greatly accelerated for the last ten years due to improved network coverage and power to process in terms of memory and storage. Other contributing factors to the success include; portability, affordable prices, and the new operating system such as Google’s Android and Apple’s iPad mobile operating system. The workforce is mobile devices has also led to this ubiquity of mobile devices. A few years ago, mobile devices such as laptops, Personal Digital Assistant (PDAs) and smartphones were everywhere though they were not powerful. The network coverage was also an issue since it was prolonged. Currently, mobile devices have been equipped with dual-core processors, enough storage, and fast memory. The network has also been improved where they have been linked to either private or public networks that enable users to download any information they require at any given time at a faster speed.
Mobile devices have become part and parcel of our daily lives since they have access to many Apps, thus performing a variety of tasks as far as information is concerned. The aspect of portability makes it easier to carry them in any place since they are smaller in size and have all the functions required with communications capabilities that are unique. The devices have also become popular due to their affordability in prices and hence can be bought by everyone since lower prices increase the demand. An increase in salespersons, technicians, and IT experts has led to improved and available mobile devices that make it easier for customers to have access to them. The workforce ensures that accessories supplied have all the required features to minimize controversies and thus to allow more people to acquire them.
