Money is one thing which rarely unites and mostly divides people.
– Sudha Murty
Money simply represents the lifestyle that willingly or unwillingly divides you from others. For example, if you are driving an expensive luxury car, your friends, colleague or relatives will surely envy you because they cannot afford such luxurious life. It symbolizes that you have lots of money and people are always taught that money is everything you want in your life. The emotional view causes the divide.
Also, the society we live in teaches us that you have to earn lots of money to live a happy and stress-free life. It has made a perception that to live a better life, and you have to have a big house, fancy car, trips to exotic locations, etc. It not only teaches you to want money but also teaches you to hate people who have it, which is entirely irrational. Therefore, you must know that money is essential in life, but not everything. It mostly divides us from the people who are close to us. – Unknown
Every person in this world must learn to give without any expectation. Expecting gratification or acknowledgement after giving something to others means we are not really giving with a full heart. You must learn to think that you have an abundance of everything, and after giving others, you will still have plenty for yourself. It will help you give more to people who do not have anything. This will also give you peace of mind, and your heart will be filled with happiness. With your simple kind gesture, you can make someone else’s life better.
However, if you start expecting back from others or if you have a selfish reason to give, it will make you very narrow-minded, and you can never feel the perfect happiness of giving without any reason.
