Mothers against Drunk Driving (MADD)
Moms against drunk driving (MADD) is an association based in both the United States and Canada. Its primary focus is to look out for and stop alcoholic driving. It also prohibits underage drinking and coming up with strict measures that are meant to stop drunk driving regardless of whether the defiance was caused by alcohol or any other medication the driver could be using. By doing this, they have been able to save a lot of lives. This association was established in September 1980 in California, Candice lightener, being the founder. She did this after a drunk truck driver hit her 13year old girl. There are a lot of MADD offices in the US and Canada, making it hard, therefore, for any drunk driver to go unnoticed. They also offer emergency services for casualties. Through their services, they have been able to report a significant reduction in drunk driving ever since it was founded.
Its mission is to clear drunk driving completely, and help come up with medicated driving, help those who have been affected by this drunk driving as well as underage drinking. They are very strict when it comes to matters about drunk driving. These measures include mandatory prison sentences, rehabilitation, and treatment. They also permit suspensions for anyone caught with these drunk driving issues. There allowed age for drinking is at 21years. For everyone caught driving while drunk, they need to undergo breathe testing suing the start interlock gadgets (IIDs).
This organization encourages people through its constant quotes and data from their website for people to work towards getting better and quitting drunk driving. This is what I want to include in my social media campaign.
