My Biggest Inspiration
Without a doubt, my biggest inspiration is my mother. Indeed, she is perhaps my most favorite person in the whole universe. There are many reasons for this such as her unconditional love for me and my siblings, her endless sacrifices in the quest to make sure we are happy, her internal strength that makes everything better, and her profound wisdom rooted in her soul; these are a just a few attributes of this incredible woman. Simply stated, she is not only a precious gift to her children, but also to the world.
My mother has a caring and kind heart, which is a rare quality in this world we exist. She gave birth to me and my siblings but still ended up taking care of the underprivileged children in our neighborhood. She devoted her love, warmth, and heart amongst each of us without any bias or favoritism. How she manages is still a mystery to all of us whom she took care of.
Preparing outstanding meals is among one of the things my mum likes to do. Whilst growing up, I was always eager about meal times since they were guaranteed to be real treats. In fact, I indebt my cooking skills to my mum as she was relentless in showing us how to be outstanding chefs. Her recipes were usually original and extremely comprehensive. Even today, I sought for some of her delicacies in dining joints and restaurants, however, this search has been largely unsuccessful. As such, I want to encourage her to compose her personal recipe book.
In regards to physical appearance, my mum has outstanding features that can turn heads irrespective of her age. Her long hair always left other women red with envy whilst she was still in her youth years. She has a slender figure not because it is in her genes but because she opts for a healthy lifestyle. She is a key source of inspiration on health matters as she still engages in exercises, along with attending to household chores every day. Her desire to stay fit is relentless.
Even though my mother has the kindest of eyes, she is persistent and defiant. She not only worked extremely hard to make sure we had good lives, she was also strict and usually punished us whenever we did silly things. Although I did like the punishments, I now realize that it was for my own good and that she did it out of love. My mother made me follow the correct path so that I could become a self-sustaining adult.
In the instance any of us got sick, mother would shift heavens and earth to make sure we got excellent care and treatment during the whole period. Her empathy for the sick is admirable; she would prepare home remedies for the illness and dedicate her time to make sure we were well attended to in every aspect.
Lastly, my mum loves to offer a lending hand to the impoverished whenever she has the chance to do so. She is a contributor and member to more than five charitable organizations that assist many individuals varying form the poor, the sick, the gender biased people, individuals suppressed by culture and society, among others. She is usually a volunteer at community charity events and one can clearly see that she feels joy giving a helping hand at all times.
