Empathy is the major characteristic to posses in order to become a thriving nurse practitioner. Our family nurse narrated to me that empathy allows the nurse in practice to understand the feeling of the patient at hand and immediately give a consistent response that is genuine of good medical care and wellbeing of the sick.
