In this regard, in the curriculum, students are required to create, share digital content and collaborate responsibly since teachers and other education stakeholders know the importance of digital literacy in passing skills and teaching students in the classroom.

Digital literacy is an essential tool in teaching and learning of language curriculum.  For s students to benefit fully, the internet is a crucial source of information that digital literacy focuses on where more emphasis is made from teachers, educators and media specialists. In this platform, it’s the primary source where a student finds and consume digital content. Mostly, students who have gained interest in digital online learning tend to be overdependence on every detail provided regardless of its geniuses. Through this, the student may acquire corrupted content, which may affect the quality and standards of the language taught by teachers. This may also lead to the creation of ignorance to the student to their teachers since they feel only content available online is essential for their learning. Students need to be alerted on rising dangers on contents posted on social media.

In a nutshell, digital literacy is an essential tool for language learning because it has helped to boost student engagement in learning thoroughly. To teach and ensure learning of language is active as a teacher, it’s essential to have a decision on the type of model that will be used to teach language learning fully integrated into digital literacy efficiently. The model will involve how digital literacy will be required, grading assessment activities, objectives as well as the steps that will ensure there is active learning to all students involved.

The first approach that I will adopt is by engaging the learners in active participation in digital literacy. The plan will include developing rapport with the student ,  supporting students capabilities to digital literacy. Students’ need,   will maintain their learning environment by providing in the classroom they are engaged in online learning which will keep them more motivated to strive toward success. To students who may prove weak in understanding the integration between language learning and digital literacy, I will be able to assist them and engage them in learning process, where all learners will be required to be innovative independent and creative to ensure the aim of improving and understanding new literacies is achieved in both teaching and learning.

The second approach that I will use to ensure the concept of digital literacy is improved and understood is designing the curriculum to fit this new idea. I will be able to identify the most appropriate method of planning that will suit student learning of knowledge about digital learning and language learning.   The technique will ensure the curriculum is incorporating ideas that are morally relevant to students environmental setup.  The curriculum will ensure that education has coherence and able to correlate the learning outcome with the desired goals. The approach has to have some aspect of technology, which will help students to present their assignments through online essay competition; where random assessments will be provided to students to test their efficiency and convenience in using digital media. To give their ideas, the ideas are to be presented in terms of infographics, e-portfolio and video presentations.
