The growth mindset gives people a full view option to come up with their own decisions. Unlike the fixed mind whereby one follows a certain way that cannot be changed that easily. Fixed mindset instead of taking risks, they tend to avoid the factors that are likely to bring back their decisions. They tend to give up easily on issues that are likely to be ambiguous to them. A fixed mindset are decision that mostly made by genius in particular fields of work. According to Dweck, people in a growth mindset do not seek challenges, and they instead thrive on them to make their end meet. In real life situations, people with a growth mind tend to make more risk over various issues pertaining to life (DeBacker et al. 711-733). They attempt different mode of production trying to fulfill their dreams

A growth mindset is better than the fixed mindset because in a growth mindset, one is in a position to learn from his or her mistakes. Through that, one can make sure he or she rectify the error and work harder, achieving the desired goals. The main difference between the growth mindset from the fixed mindset is that people with a fixed mindset are likely not in a position to change their minds. Most of the criticism towards the person is considered to be personal, and they are ignored, hence there is no step taken to encounter such critics. The growth mindset depend of the critics from their opponents and instead utilize the chance to stand strong and perfect from their mistakes. The journey to greatness has a lot of obstacles, according to Dweck, for one to be successful, should instead utilize the critics and advice to perfect the mistake done.

Dweck points out that, in growth mindset, failure is always painful but if one gives up, then he or she termed as a failure (Long & Elizabeth, 204-210). People under the category of growth mind are supposed to learn from their mistake and perfecting in whatever they do. According to Carol Dweck, the secret behind the new psychology of success is that, for one to be success enough, they should be in a position to read ones mindset. Consequently, they should make sure they utilize every opportunity given to learn a new thing that can boost their understanding towards achieving their goals. In a business situation one should tame the heart of learning from other people mistake. If there is a mistakes done, they should be avoided next time to make the business successful. There are several methods that can be used to make one successful. Like for instance, learning to be in good relationship with the workers can be a step forward in high yield production. Skilled that are gained through efforts are more likely to be well understood than the easily gained ones. When comparing the two type of mindset, a person with a fixed mindset may not understood the effects of putting more efforts in business or another form of work like a person using growth mindset. The more efforts put on a certain task, the more it likely to be well remember to due to the kind of feedback gained. In a classroom situation, students with growth mindset are sometime like understand the content being taught in class than students with a fixed mind. The reason behind this is because students with a fixed mind may not put more efforts in their academics as the students with growth minds (Davis & Starr, 78-90). In some colleges black students may put more efforts in the education to understand on what re being taught.

In conclusion, according to Carol Dweck, people who use fixed mindset are more like to develop a mentality that are the most important personnel characteristics like aptitude are fixed and unalterable. Fixed mindset are likely to lead one into a situation that one cannot change himself due to the growing mentality of being smart always. On the other side, a growth mindset believe that collective efforts and learning from mistakes is the results of having passion in learning and approaching new things. They are always ready for any criticism and adversity as well from their competitors.
