There are many aspects to planning for your future career and this assessment item assists in this process. There are short-, medium-, and long-term goals that you can implement that assist in your career development. HR professionals are often required to engage in (or develop) performance management programs, training and career development programs for employees, so knowing how to do this for yourself is a useful exercise. An honest consideration of where your strengths and weaknesses are right now allows you to consider how to reach your career development goals. This assessment items allows you to consider your current strengths and weaknesses, set career goals (or objectives), and provide an analysis of how you might be able to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be in your career.[unique_solution] Task Desсrіption: Section 1: Detail the work and study experiences that you have had that position you as a HR professional. You may not have worked as a HR professional, but you will have gained skills from your work and studies that are transferable to the profession. This section should be limited to around 150 words. Section 2: Outline your future career objectives as a HR professional. What are your career goals as a HR professional? Be realistic and consider appropriate time frames over a 5-10 year period. This section should be limited to around 150 words. Section 3: Review the Employability Module and reflect upon how you anticipate your current degree program will bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be as a HR professional. Discuss a potential strategy for combining your university learning with other non-university experiences to better position yourself in reaching your career goals.
