- As part of this research paper, first, you are required to:
- Select three major political theories and respective philosophers/thinkers.
- Each theory/thinkermust be from a different historical period (ancient, medieval, and early-mid/modern).
- Identify the principles/ideas of each theory/thinker.
- Compare and contrast them thoroughly.
- Apply each theory (or set of ideas) to at least two contemporary social or political events or issues.
Research Paper Structure
- The paper should follow a traditional essay structure, comprising an introduction, body, and conclusion paragraphs.
- The concluding paragraphs should discuss your findings and incorporate your critical thinking analysis[unique_solution]
Research Paper Format
- The research paper should bein no less than 2000 words, approximately eight (8) double-spaced pages, excluding the title, abstract, and reference pages, in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, with 1-inch margins, and no extra spacing or use of bold.
- You are required to use at least twelve sourcesfor your research paper.
- At least six of those sources must be academic, peer-reviewed.
- Non-academic sources should be from reputable sources of information.
- I urge you to also use theorists’ own publications, which should be available online.
- The course textbook does not count as a source of information.
- You are required to use the APA writing style throughout the paper. Note: In-text citations should include page numbers as well, i.e. (Klosko 2012, p. 40). For information about the APA style, see the links:
