Summary

The article is about the learning of preservice teachers who opt to take an initial early literacy course across early childhood education system as well as those teaching kindergartens. The study assigned the teachers two tutoring program such as book buddies and scripted lessons which were necessary to provide proper learning strategies to them. The main reason for the research was to be in a position to understand which of the different tutoring program was effective and necessary for improving knowledge acquisition among the teachers and lead to deep language acquisition. The study selected teachers from a random framework which was a great move to avoid biasedness as much as possible. Education being a principle focus of most schools, teachers seek to satisfy some of the issues they consider for the benefit of the entire process.

However, the study findings indicated that the preservice teachers showed similar benefits in knowledge, even though they had a broader and deep application of knowledge and high self-ratings of the level of preparedness to teach reading programs. The given students in both conditions came up with similar comprehension benefits that helped to indicate the students decoding levels in one way or the other. The study also indicated that there had been a widespread concern pertaining to the number of children unable to read and write on the given study grade level. This implies that early childhood elementary teachers are considered as being in the frontline to defending and preventing future reading problems across the reading initiative given. This is a positive approach that has changed the ways in which different options and alternatives have been made. The study is a great focus that tries as much as possible to understand this problem in details.

The article does not provide enough reasons why there is little empirical evidence pertaining to the effectiveness of the methods teachers use while preparing. According to Lake, Al Otaiba, & Guidry (2016), there should always adequately reasons to understand the claims teachers have concerning various issues. The way different elements have been factored out is a clear show of a reliable approach to understanding the given empirical evaluations and evidence on teacher’s capability to teach. There should be properly completed research done to measure the learning benefits of both preservice teachers and the various students, which comes as a result of the contrasting field experiences. From such an approach, it becomes possible to change the manner in which various elements are done to influence one or two things that are being made. The way such elements have been done is an influence and proper highlights made.
