Product Promotion through Social media
Social media has exponentially grown over the decades. Social media refers to the interactive computer-based technologies that aid in the creation and sharing of data and information via a virtual community network (Solomon et al. 562). Due to technological advancement, there has been the development of computing and mobile technologies which have helped in more accessible access to the platforms. The social media platforms are now actively being used for marketing products. Various advertisements and goods promotion, which may no be broadcasted by television or radios apply the use of social media.
In my perspective, the most favourable social media platform is Instagram. This site is beneficial as it allows connectivity of people all around the world to form one small village. Moreover, the site is easy and straightforward to use. Instagram would work correctly in the marketing of craft drinks. Various advertisements showcasing the well-crafted drinks have been showcased on the platform over the years. Men between the age of 20 – 48 years who enjoy regular beverages would be the leading target group of the product. I would apply the platform because it allows me to connect with a variety of people and get their recommendations and needs to improve the drink. Moreover, I would continuously post photos and videos which out case the pleasure enjoyed by partaking the drink.

It is evident that social media has taken over the marketing world by storm. Moreover, the particle of online product promotion through the use of Instagram would go a long way to improving sales in the fitness sector. There have been many fitness ads posted on the site. These images and videos aid in the luring of consumers to purchase the products. Therefore, Instagram should be the first choice of any product promotion plan.

I tend to disagree that use of twitter surpasses the application of Instagram. Moreover, twitter is not an advisable method due to the lack of likes of the products posted. This means that one cannot determine if the product sold meets consumer preferences or not. Therefore, I highly discourage the application of twitter in any form of product promotion.
