How my identity as a writer and understanding of the process of writing composition have developed during the unit?

Composition writing has been a process of development from the idea that is bubbling in mind and putting it on paper (Barkhuizen,2016). At my early stage, I had a bad language and low command of vocabulary. I had no idea how sentences should be constructed and an idea to be developed and be clear to the audience. I have learned how to develop an easy to be readable by my audience. The writing art is very comprehensive, whereby you have to put the reader in mind on what should be easier for them to mauver and have a point clear for themselves without being interpreted by a third party. Having the reader in mind as you write, the composition draws the mind and puts a clear picture of the content that the readers are up to. I have learned that when the point is clear for the reader, it is important for them to have the key points of the content clear.

The development of good grammar in my writing has improved tremendously. Having good grammar enhances the reader to have a good understanding of the content easily. When the grammar is correct, the reader of my composition will be able to find how well I have commanded my vocabulary, constructed my sentences, and my points get understandable easily (Bennett at el 2016). Having the progress of grammar is the best way I have learned to have the content clear of my compositions. Good grammar is a brand ambassador of the content that is being written in a composition; correct spelling and punctuation are a good representative of my work to the world of readers. Therefore, grammar is one of the best parts of the writer’s development of compositions.

Good understanding of the constructive structure of my composition. I have identified different ways that compositions should take after. The structure is a key element in composition writing and having key elements on how your work will be looking like (Creaton,2016). The clear structure entails the format that composition will simulate and the paragraphing methods that it will adopt in commanding my ideas for the reader.

I have learned that English curriculum is built around language, literature, and literacy. Knowing about the English language is a coherent, dynamic, and evolving body of knowledge about the language plus ways that it works best. Literature has opened up my mind on understanding, appreciating, responding, and creating literature (Cruess at el 2016). The English language conveys information and emotions, the creation of imaginative worlds, and aesthetic and significant experiences. Through literature, I can pass my message to the reader of any type of topic by ensuring my point of discussion is driven home. Literature helps to hide the nakedness of an idea and put it in the progress of knowing what is supposed to be put across. Literacy has helped me to command the language and bring my ideas correctly, accurately, creatively, confidently, and effectively in a wide range of modes. The skills are compressive to have and contain in every aspect of the detail that is supposed to contain in the composition.

Writing on specific and detailed direct prose is a way of putting the ideas directly on how to make things work out in a compressive manner. Through the process of learning composition writing, having a detailed manner is a good idea for the specifications that are be needed for the composition so that a reader can be able to know what I am speaking on (Estrem,2015). Some writings are good when they have direct prose for the contents that are provided for the writer. The most important manner of making the details of clear is showing the concept that you are putting forward for the reader to have at the end of the reading.

As a writer, I should know the audience I am writing my composition to. This will facilitate to know the kind of language and methods I should deploy. The command and the type of vocabulary that should be used in my composition. It is stated that there is a high level of literacy in children. The environmental print in pre-school, kindergarten, and primary classrooms is a crucial part of developing a literacy-rich learning environment that will help in making the writing skill improve over time and have the skills that should be entailed in the market of composition writing (Creaton,2016). When you have known the audience that you are addressing, it will be easier to know the content that you should use in your composition. Environmental print is the best part that determines my writing and knows who am I addressing in my composition writing.

I improved my linguistic fluency of the English that is being used to improve my writing of compositions from the level I used to be. It enables the improvement of the manipulation of sentence structures in order to provide comprehensive text to the reader (Estrem,2015). In this way, there was an improvement of working memory space and allows the writer to advocate more attention to meaning related problems. Meaningful production of linguistics facilitates the readability of the information by the reader. Command of the language enables us to write on a variety of topics that will help have the details since command of the vocabulary is easier.

Explain how emerging self-knowledge as a writer and the writing process, will inform the way you could work with students to develop their writing

Free-writing every day is one of the techniques that will help students to be able to have that urge of having a flow of words and content. It is an enjoyable tool a writer can employ to enhance his craft (Wald at el 2015). The method is allowing the piece to be written in an original and authentic way without having a judgment of being edited, and it will also command the state of mind. The method will help students not to publish anything that they do not want rather have their original writing, which they will be able to defend when they have a podium. The technique will facilitate the ideas to flow out of the pen to the paper without any self-critiquing that will come at a later time if a student wants to pursue the piece.

Meditation is another virtue of self-knowledge as a writer that will help young students to develop their writing skills better. This technique acts like a mental vacuum cleaner whereby it ensures you have a clear mind before you start writing your work by sucking off unhelpful thoughts and stress-free your mind by setting up your mind for a successful writing session (Wald, 2015). Through this method, you will be able to make things right will your mind and the focus for better work since there are better people than you over the internet. Students when learning how to carry out writing, by having a clear mind, they will be able to have the content flowing and have a quality work that will help the have the lead of writing.

Knowing who you are, is another aspect that will help students have the best writing tradition (Penningto, at el 2016). Self-awareness opens the mind on what you are best in. When you know what you can deliver it is easier for you to make end meets in the writing session. Doing what you love and best at helps a student to have the content and ideas to flow towards delivering the best work. When you have identified who you are, it will be easier to employ a tactic that will be helpful and easier for you to develop and become the best writer.

Sharing experience with other writers is an added advantage to know what you do not know and other experiences that will be able to make you a better writer. Many writers tend to be introverted, they do not share their experience to each other through this way we fail to realize that we have, literally at our fingertips and the network of people who comprehend and have the same experience (Moss,at el 2015). When you have doubt about your writing you should consult other writers so that they can shade light on what they have on the same area that you are straggling with. Through this method learning becomes better and faster to know other tactics that are emerging.

Positive affirmation is an important aspect that writers use to speculate positives on their articles so that they can be positively fed. The controls of having a phrase that is well drawn so that the writer up can cling to it is a good affirmation to experienced writers who do creative writing. Students will be able to know the best way to put across clauses that will be able to advance their work so that they can be better writers as time moves (Miller, at el 2015). To have the best affirmation as a writer you should keep the phrases brief and limited. Focus on one or two phrases until you have the incorporation of the psyche then you can move to the next. Using of the present tense is vital for the affirmation since it will keep the current flow of the work that you will present as a writer.

Generally, the concept of learning composition writing entails all the aspects of self-confidence and owning the language to the fingertips so that there can be good flow of ideas and know what the reader exactly want (Leggette, at el 2015). Through this method student can learn in the best way possible and better themselves in knowing other areas that need their concert. Having full content of what is supposed to be entailed in the is a key role for improving the writing of compositions.
