Other documentation is the contract with the garbage collectors to obtain electronic wastes. The second milestone would be getting the required funding. The project must have operation premises, materials, and the capacity to hire skilled labor. The proposal is essential in convincing the investors to take advantage of the opportunity. The final milestone would be setting up the facility and starting the recycling work.
Project timeline
The proposal preparation should be complete before summer. After that, the members will spend the summer holiday getting the legal documentation and approvals. All the contracts with the suppliers shall be signed during the holiday. Once the team receives support, the members will ensure all assembly works are complete by the end of fall. The project must have the required staff and stock the needed materials. The operations should be ready to start in January. The group will ensure the first products are prepared by summer the following year to get them to the target market.
Cost estimates
Since the project is a new venture, cost estimates will depend on the ability of employees to take risks and prevailing market conditions. However, the team target to collect $30,000. A third of the money will go to the procurement of electronic wastes and additional materials. Another third will help in getting a working premise while the rest will pay for labor costs. Though the developer of the idea will work on a volunteer basis, the project must include higher professional electrical and electronic engineers. The teams must also have a procurement and sales team to manage inventory.
