The company providing hospital supplies and equipment will have a ready market for its products. Given the large size of the community area to be covered, the trick will be the supplies to be subsidized since the volumes will be high. Higher volume supplies at a subsidized rate will create a win-win scenario for both the company, the facility and the community. The terms of delivery and payment period/schedule will, however, be well stipulated in the contract to be signed by the parties entering the partnership.
The solo practitioners will benefit from better compensation from the facility emerging from serving a large pool of patients as compared to the numbers they attend to at their private clinics. The goodwill from the community as a result of serving them at subsidized cost will go along way for the practitioners.
How will it achieve the goal of more access and lower price for the community?
