Personality is the pattern of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive characteristics that are influenced by biological and environmental factors. Most of the personality theories are based on the motivation and psychological interactions with the environment. Few scientists define personality as the trait which predicts a person’s behavioral characteristics. Most of these theories view personality as stable traits.

MMPI is a written personality test used in the diagnosis of personality and psychological disorders in adolescents and adults. TAT test is the most widely used test that is used to observe the pattern of thought, attitude, emotional response, etc. Rorschach test is the most common test used in the analysis of a person’s critical thinking ability.
Many factors influence a person’s characteristic traits. Social experiences are the most influential factor that takes part in shaping the personality of any individual. A person’s social skills affect his coordination, family and social relationships, and involvement in the community. Culture and religion are considered as the most influential determinants in human life.
