In the following literature review, different sources which provides information on the aspect of dreaming will be discussed. It is good to note that there are different explanations which have been provided regarding the reasons why people dream. One of the common reasons according to one of sources, people experience dreams as an unconscious activity of processing the activities of the previous day in order to prepare the mind for new tasks.

In this, they note that dreams are predictions of things that are likely to occur in the life of a dreamer sometimes.
