Reason for a boring class

Maths class might be boring when someone doesn’t like the subject. Sometimes people are bored due to a lack of motivation from the teacher. If the teacher does not keep the class alive and active, the students might be bored.

Attitude

I got a positive attitude towards maths. The reason behind this ist because I have learned that maths is applied everywhere in daily activities. However, I got anxious feelings about mathematics. When exposed to severe situations involving mathematics, I normally develop tension and apprehension.

The experience

The first experience was after starting the college mathematics package. The proof-writing course was tough since it was something new. I tried my best to memorize the proofs, just like the way I was used to the maths formulas but didn’t make. I was frustrated and discouraged a lot. However, after sometimes, I started visiting my friends to discuss the proofs with them. After some time, I was right in the program, and I passed the couser well.

Meaning of maths

Mathematics does not need to be “fun.” It’s a field that is widely applied in daily activities, whether someone likes the subject or not. Mathematics biography is a teaching technique used in mathematics education and helps in mastering mathematical identities.

Learning maths in the past

Sometimes back is used to hate maths because I didn’t understand concepts well. However, I took a step forward and trained myself to be active enough in class. Being active in class entails answering and asking questions. Through such struggles, I gained an interest in maths and learned some of the concepts well.

Best and worse year in school

Anyone, when exposed to new things, especially people with anxiety, is likely to see everything complicated. My first day in college maths seemed like the worse concept taught in school. All this was associated with tension due to fear of failure. However, after some struggle and grit towards maths became a right subject to handle through hard work just like others.  I can not say maths has ever been my favorite but have always worked hard to learn and master concepts in it well. Maths is a complex subject that needs learning new things each day.

Help from other people

Math is exciting when learning new things from different people. I have learned and gained some interest in maths from teachers and other people’s older than me.

Learning and practicing new things, not a one-day thing. The same case applies to maths. Some people might join the college as experts of maths but later fail to perform. For example, when people make minor mistakes in maths, they might feel discourages, and this might make their opinions about maths change to worse. When such kinds of actions happen, it’s the rile of the victim to work hard and not to give up.

Applying things learned in maths

One of the things which I do in my life is keeping a diary. I always keep a diary to track and keep my schedule well. I still run from one place to another for appointments, and the things I use to track my time is the diary. Therefore, diary-keeping involves using mathematics.

Classroom environment and the role of the teacher

The purpose of helping students to enjoy mathematics, not for entertainment but cultivating in them a passion, spark for the subject. The students interested in maths don’t give up easily, even in tough challenges. They try their level best despite the issue they face in the classroom since failure is not an option for such students. If the teachers genuinely want to improve student’s success in maths, they should discover ways to help students love maths.
