Huldrych Zwingli
Huldrych Zwingli was a Swiss religious leader born in January 1484 and died in October 1531. Zwingli was the most significant Swiss protestant reformer. He was the founder of Swiss reformed church and essential player of the reformed tradition. In addition to accepting, supreme scriptural authority, Zwingli practised it more religiously and broadly in all practises and doctrines. His work stressed on divine sovereignty, but it was tempered by insignificant opinion of sin and hope for salvation. He rejected sacraments as a way of acquiring grace and intervention between the human soul and God, unlike other reformation leaders like John Calvin and Poetro Martire Vermigli (Britannica, 2019). His influence would have been averted if he accepted lay law in church governance. His work marked with obvious intellectualism and disjointedness.
