Repton School is a co-educational school. Both for boarding and day scholar pupils. It is located in a village called Repton in South Derbyshire which explains the origin of the name of this school. This school is well known for its endless indulgent in charity activities for the school. With this, they can offer endless activities to the community surrounding them as well as added knowledge to their students.

The Factory

This is a name that was given to their latest charity works. This charity work involved a fashion show. It was meant to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust Charity. This fashion show happens twice a year. For every year, they have a goal they would want to achieve. This motivates them even more to work towards achieving their goal. The upper sixth pupils make up the committee members that oversees matters about the fashion show. They are responsible for deciding on how the fashion show will be, that is the ideas, what Charity to go for among other things. It is also responsible for the various organization of the models, crew and the designers. The team is all rounded as it covers students from all years. They ensure that the organization showcases its talents to the audiences on that day. They look forward to inviting over 400 spectators every year.

Did they succeed?

Well, it’s enormous yes for this one. The fashion show that was held for two consecutive days was able to raise over $2 for the Trust Charity. This was quite a pleasant and helpful amount to this Charity. Apart from the money, other students also donated hair to the Charity. This hair is used to manufacturer wigs for children battling cancer. With this charity works, the students in Repton School gain leadership and management skills. The students are very proud of what they do and what they achieve, not forgetting the experience gained for the future. How great would this be?
