It is good that you have chosen New Beginning as your preferred institution to take your internship program because it is within your field of study. It is also incredible to recognize that these institutions hold people who are fearful and have trouble forming any time of relationship as it will help you to understand and cope with your patients and the overall work environment. Also, from your essay, you mentioned about your personal journal and how you will write the problems you are likely to face and questions you want clarity from your instructor. However, I feel you could have been more detailed by mentioning the type of problems other than anxiety that you might face during your internship program. Also, you should have mentioned the type of questions that you will be posing to your field instructor and what you expect from him.
Additionally, you mentioned in your essay that your primary goal is to learn and integrate theory and practice during your internship program. This objective is right, however, you should have expounded more on how you were going to achieve this goal, what resources you were going to use, and who was going to help you in the process. Furthermore, you mentioned that you are the only intern in your agency and viewed it as an advantage because you get to have all the attention of your instructor and other social workers. I would have been also best of you would have mentioned some of the weaknesses you are facing is the only intern within the organization.
