Response to a thread; Archeology can prove the Bible right
Every year archeologist has always recovered and unearthed materials from the ground, analyzed it to make the world understandable. As a Christian, I have always found there research fascinating because, in a way, they have always answered and proved me right in various ways. Indeed findings unearthed by biblical archaeologists have continued to affirm and make like-minded Christians place biblical context on people, events, and even culture true. Contrary to the idea that archeologist has always proven the bible wrong, I take my stand that indeed they have always continued to show the way.
I know that there are individuals out there who still grapple with the question that did the bible happen?. For some others, it is just a book full of mythical stories. I tend to believe otherwise because the evidence is everywhere, and as the psalmist would put it, “Truth shall spring out from Earth” (Psalms 85:11). ** (video part 2, 7:18) present us with evidence of storage vessels that dates back in the ancient times before Jesus. In (video part 2, 7:28), he also gives us proof of the Herodian oil lamp that was talked about in the old testament (Bible verse).
Indeed he states clearly in (video part 2, 8:34) that the diagnostic pieces of pottery dates back to the time of Jesus and remains a cultural witness to the account of the bible. The biblical interest in pottery has an expected reflection in biblical archeology. God’s word, as we all see, can outlast human generation and, indeed, at its own time, vindicates the truth as he deems fit to his people. I tend to believe it is the right of everybody to decide, and through the evidence that has just seen archeological findings undoubtedly points to one thing, the bible.
