Response to Jena Yates on differences between Millennials and their grandparents
Various factors influence the differences in education between today’s millennials and their grandparents. Firstly, competition in the market has increased the value of education in the country. It is now hard for unskilled youth to get a job. Therefore, millennials are committed to advancing their education and secure good jobs. Moreover, the number of millennial women in schools is at 36%, which is higher than men. Women have been empowered and joined the workforce. This has motivated most of them to advance their education. In terms of marriage, millennials are taking a lot of time before starting families. Most millennials spend their time in schools and marriage is not a priority. This is unlike their grandparents, who were marrying at 23. I also agree with Jena that minorities group has increased due to globalization and immigration. Through international trade, multinational firms have been set up hence employing people from other countries. Moreover, people have learned how to appreciate diversity, thus prompting an increase in minority groups. Don't use plagiarised sources.Get your custom essay just from $11/page
