Response to Kimberly Kunzler
New products with harmful environmental or health effects should be locked out of the market. The Federal and States government should enact legislation that requires all manufacturers to pass new products to quality checkers. All the products must meet the health guidelines stipulated in the country. I agree with Kimberly that products like Vape pens and Juul pods should be withdrawn from the market. They have chemicals that lead to diseases such as lung cancer that claims the lives of many people. Withdrawing these products from the US market will be for the greater good. In contrast, the government should continue supporting the introduction of new products that transform people’s lives. For instance, the electric bicycle for the physically challenged is one of the products that is changing lives. Since the physically challenged struggle when walking around towns, these bicycles will ease their movement. It will also lower the burden of their relatives to guide them while walking in public.
