Sean Tissue
Throughout his career, Sean Tissue has been recognized as a transformative leader and an entrepreneur at heart. Having excelled in various entrepreneurial endeavors, Tissue was driven by the spirit of hard work, commitment to excellence, and discipline. He adds that his decision to start Centureon Investments and grow it to where it is today, has been through determination and many lessons learned.
Starting out
Starting on real estate, for Tissue was not easy as he had to negotiate an excellent deal on a property, get it under a contract and then sell that contract to another person who had the capacity to buy it. It took him a year to get his first property and later on bought two properties that he renovated on his own. During this period, he found investor contracts and that how he built a network.
The good and the not-so-good about property investment
For Sean Tissue, Real estate investment is a wealth generation tool. While there are drawbacks, it is a steady and secure investment in the long term. Tissue describes the real estate as security because it has many options. However, he cautions against making a hasty decision as this can quickly teach you a lesson. He believes that the drawbacks about real estate or property investment is that it has no well-rounded consortium of individuals that you can tap into for property investment advice. There are no wealth managers and financial advisors, like in stocks. You have to learn the loops by yourself or find a partner with experience.
The lessons learned
Sean Tissue has a message to real estate investors; that doing due diligence on properties before investing in them is critical. It will help you stay away from a bad deal. That is the reason why Centureon Investments offers a platform for due diligence to help clients gain trust and transparency when buying property. It includes inspections, videos, and photos.
