Shasta is on course to raise more than $300 million fifth fund. The funds drive planned according to SEC filing that lists Shasta’s Director Rob Coneybeer and Managing Director Jason Pressman. In 2014, Shasta got more money in returns when it sold Nest Labs to Google for $3.2 billion. According to Rob Coneybeer, Nest Labs is a company that has been build out of persistence and dedication. The amount generated from selling the company represents a success story on the part of Shasta. The company has promoted Nikhil Basu to the position of Managing Director at the age of 29. Basu will be the fifth managing director at the company since it started.
