Sheikh Zayed’s Global Reputation
Sheikh Zayed is known as the most powerful Arab ruler. He was born in 1918 and was a crown prince of Abu Dhabi Emirates. Sheikh Zayed later became United Arab Emirates’ presidents and a ruler of Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Zayed is considered as the driving force behind the foreign policy of the activists of UAE and also a leader against Islamist movements in Arabia.
Sheikh Zayed was seen as a great visionary leader by other world leaders. He was a leader who his vision through passionate belief and led by example. These were primary aspects that were behind his progressive, sustainable development, humanitarian vision, and socio-economic. Sheikh Zayed was considered as a leader who placed high values in pursuing development in his country, which were in line with the present and future generation’s needs. Through hard work, determination, and tolerance, Sheikh Zayed attained his vision of UAE, which was an arid and hostile desert into a hospitable green environment. He used the country’s resources to bring enduring prosperity to his people. Besides, other leaders view Sheikh Zayed as a distinguished sage and an influential figure not only to the Arabian Peninsula but to the whole world. This is because he was blessed with some noble qualities such as love for humility, nobility, and humanitarian foundations.
Nonetheless, Sheikh Zayed had a good reputation in the world through his symbols of tolerance, generosity, and love. He is also known for his remarkable cause of helping the needy around the globe. Also, he participated in various diplomatic events, which built international relations for other small countries in the world. Sheikh Zayed left a legacy of shaping the Arab world by forming UAE Federations and further contributed to GCC formation.
Moreover, Sheikh Zayed was a peacemaker who showed Abu Dhabi and the entire world how to promote peace among various communities. He also showed the Islamic societies ways of overcoming issues, which are caused by political and ideological differences between people and countries.
Eventually, Sheikh Zayed was known to make considerable contributions to Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Zayed devoted to transforming Abu Dhabi into a green city. He contributed to building house facilities, health services, schools, roads, and bridges, which helped in boosting the economy of the country and further preserved the land for future generations (Constantoulakis et al. 481). Besides, he contributed to charitable causes throughout the world. Besides taking care of citizen’s welfare, Sheikh Zayed participated in providing social aid and assistance to those in need. He further attributed in unifying the seven emirates into one country. Sheikh Zayed participated in promoting people in many countries, thus bringing unity among various countries.
