Literature review plays a vital role in the research process. Understanding the present literature is essential for all stages of research work. The literature review aids any researcher to link the study by providing a framework, information organization, detecting innovation, reducing duplicative research, and certifying that professional values actualize. A good understanding of the present literature review enhances education by delivering towards the standards on which scholarly work should be assessed.

The researcher can use literature review when envisioning goals. Literature work can provide a basis upon which one establishes clear goals, given the weight of the information contained in the literature review (Boell & Cecez-Kecmanovic, 2015). The excellent research design must incorporate all the information specified in the literature review for it to deliver accurate and measurable results. The usefulness of the findings of research depends solely on the relevance of the information found in the study and its applicability. Researchers can take advantage of the available literature to formulate a better hypothesis and scope of research.  Clear studies that borrow from literature review must communicate results in an effective manner.

A literature review is a significant part of any research design and should occur all through the entire research process. The survey enables research work to show cohesiveness in the hypothesis and the search results; allowing participants to develop proper recommendations on every study undertaken.
