Introduction

In the current situation, women are involuntarily made to sort their daily needs. These decisions are made unwillingly. This is because the women lack husbands who might support than in the nurturing of their children. The burden is found to have a substantial impact on the women and their sons in the coming future. These women face many challenges in the modern days. In the coming future, the problems are proven to be similarly reflected in the recent days. The paper describes the challenges that mom and her son might face in the future.

Challenges Faced by Single Mothers

The role of single parents hard once the family is being headed by one parent who is the mother. These unique mother problems are related to the upbringing of the offspring, their future, and setting down in life. Till the time when the children are self-dependent, that is when they leave their mother and start living on their own. To mention some of the current problem faced by single moms includes social, economic, and emotional. According to the snowball sampling method (2010), fifty single mothers experimented. The outcome of the study discovered that the financial problem was the major stressor for many single mothers.

The financial problem is not only revealed in the modern days but will also be reflected in the coming future. The living standards are becoming expensive day by day. The situation is facilitated by the current weak economy, which does not cater for the poor citizens. The economy only favors the rich who are highly paid (Zagel & Hübgen,2018) In the case of the single mother the life is likely to be challenging majorly due to financial problems. The son of single mothers is expected to miss good education, habitat, and clothing. The poor living standard will, therefore, be revealed in the future regarding both the mother and his son.

The emotional factor is another stressing problem that is found to have significantly impacted the lives of single mothers. These stresses come as the result of pressure in the life hardship. The individual mother worries about their son’s future since even though they get the basic need, their education is still a question. For example, if in the current situation, the education of a single mother son will not be sorted out, then in the future life will become stressful to both the mother and the soon. The son will lack the essential requirement for employment while the mother by then will have grown old (Schein, 2018). Both the mother and the son are at risk of a miserable life; thus, life will be hopeless, and the mother will have lost confidence in herself.

In the public domain, majority single women are avoiding social gatherings. Similarly, they are found to have changed their mode of dressing due to the stress they put themselves in. Poor diets and eating habit is also regarded as a challenge. The majority of the single mothers thus found it hard to uphold the discipline among children due to the absence of the father. In the coming future, the son of the single mothers is therefore likely to face the in-discipline cases.

Therapist Opinion

According to the therapist, advice on the matter about the single parental hood. The issue of a single mother is taken into consideration. This is because most women think that it’s their fault; that is why they are alone. Therapists advise the only mothers to invest in their friendships through the act they will quickly meet there need in the coming future. Also, the therapist advised the single women to stay clear of reading their future. By doing so, they will have come up with ways to improve their future.

Conclusion

Regarding the challenges faced by the women in the modern days. Is by any mean the challenges are not solved, then the problems will be reflected in the coming future. Through such weakness, it is evident that the life of both the mother and the son will be totally in danger. Therefore, the single parental hood is a challenge to the children that find themselves in this kind of family.
