Question 2

Kehinde Wiley

The context in which he created the message was during slavery and war movements. Being from the USA were slavery, the Second World War had just ended, and being a minority group (Africa-America), his artwork was a demonstration of himself and the poor background which he was brought up. He shares the same religion that I am from.

Kara Walker

Walker’s message on his art was created at the time or racism and was all about race. Being from the minority group (African-American) and from a less fortunate background, her message did create a new view over racism. She is, however, from the same Christina background that I do share.

Yayoi Kasama

Kasama’s message was inspired by the hallucination of the dots, which were the basis of the word. Being from a different country Japan. Her message was coiled during the infinity test, an element of change in her country. Being from a minority group, and a different religion, her work was quite different.

Kehinde Wiley

Kehinde Wiley’s two artworks repair the world, and Shantavia Beale II has the common element being figurative paintings that demonstrate they are derived from the full-color details. The two artworks which basically have a more significant portion of sterling the eye with their intricate details do promotes the component of African taste of painting in the 20th century. The arts are designed to stir vivid memory among other responses, which they are likely to provoke on the audience. Wiley uses some of the brightest lights in his paintings, perhaps to enhance the element of better memory of the patterns that he intends to communicate. The two, however, focus on the beauty of the people of African origin.

Kara Walker

Kara Walker, the subtle or the Marvelous Sugar Baby and the installation of look away, look away from both express more viscerally the blood-stained appetite for sugar. The artworks which both depict women with Africa features in the shape of a sphinx demonstrate her actual position on the view of the element of violence sex and slavery amongst some of the issues which her major artworks were all about.  She demonstrates an artistic understanding or expression of her viewpoint in relation to the element of life that she felt was worth addressing. Walker pieces of art were designed for the generation based on the issue she could observe at the time of bleached sugar sphinx.

Yayoi Kasama

Yayoi Kasama “All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins” and the “Infinity Mirrored Room” are artwork that is quite unique. Unlike any other artist, her artworks are brightly colored and have the element of dots on them, perhaps inspired by her hallucination before the period of her artwork.  The two artwork is a demonstration of the infinity art patterns, which were perceived to lack the end and a presentation of parallel mirrors that would appear recede to infinity. Her designs were based on this aspect, perhaps a demonstrating of the various elements in life which do have the infinity nature.

Kehinde Wiley

Looking at “repair the world” and “shantavia beale II” by kehinde Wiley I can get much to learn from the two pieces of art. I do appreciate the value of the people of color or black America; they are beautiful people.  From the artwork, I do have a feeling that these people are beautiful, and their skin color is unique, which gives them unmatched beauty.  The pieces of art do demonstrate the actual value of both the African American woman and man and their uniqueness in the inner beauty that Wiley did want to express. They, however, make me have the memory of various great people who have had confidence in themselves regardless of their color like Barack Obama.

Kara Walker

Looking at Kara Walker’s pieces of artworks, the experience that I can take away from the artwork is the element of expression of self-confidence and freedom. Being a person of color, the artist did talk much about African Americans in her portraits and installations. She did talk about the element of sex, slavery, and violence, things which used to be a problem the African American women. It ignites the memory of how much these women had to fight for their freedom for a long time. It is an expression of the long way that the African American woman has come to be where they are today

Yayoi Kasama

Kasama’s “All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins” and the “Infinity Mirrored Room” however ignite how different experiences. The two pieces of art demonstrate one unique and little-understood artwork, which is based on the aspect of science. Her artwork is basically science-based on the fact that she did not get much formal education. Looking at her piece of art, I get the memory of how much is the power of imagination, which was the source of her inspiration. Her acts as means of combining the western and the eastern artworks and the beauty that lies on art from the east
