Smart city policy
There are various policies that are applicable to smart cities. Some of these policies relate to traffic light placement, surveillance camera coverage, and tax licenses issued. The ones that have already been covered are traffic light placement and surveillance camera coverage. Therefore, this thread will focus on the one which has not been covered, which is the tax licenses issued. In the latter stated policy, the EMA workbench utilization of the system dynamic or software such as the transport intelligence system, a very advanced system, has embodied intelligence that can offer innovative services. Some of the services provided, in this regard, are tax licensing, management of traffic, along with other services related to the transport industry. The use of such systems enables the users to make an informed decision, and also be in a position to make safer and more coordinated smarter transport networks.
In the policy mentioned above for tax licenses issued, the ABM model will be useful in building a model for simulating the effects of it. In this case, the flow management application of the model will be suitable precisely the TRANSIMIS (Transport Analysis and Simulation System). The application will be able to collect daily data from the drivers to include information about their tax licensing. Moreover, to make the model more accessible, data visualization technique will be used, whereby information will be stored in a database and presented in the form of maps and charts. Last but not least, in reference to figure 15.9, the data that will be captured in a new column for the policy on tax licenses policy will be that of compliance in tax licensing.
