Learners at a young age enjoy many different things. For instance, some like reading books while others like singing. It is unnecessary to force sports into learners because it might not be their choice. Also, it can be depressing or stressful for the child in the future. Reasons, parents, and teachers end up setting high expectations for learners.

Learners range in personality types and interests as well. Therefore, they get expected to enroll, engage, and excite in opportunities they wish to. Entering learners in sports of your choice leads to disappointments because they are not motivated to pursue what is expected of them rather than what they want to achieve.

  • Sports consume a lot of time; Participation in sports requires someone’s commitment of time. In most cases, students focus too much on games forgetting their studies. It consumes time because each individual in the team gets given a role that expects him or her to perform on their level best.
  • Sports are boring sometimes; it happens that students participating in sports get fed up of going to the same place of practicing daily and competing against the same people. It is a common problem that forces players to switch clubs or sports to try something new.
  • Sports expose learners to injuries; learners who engage in games are prone to muscle pools, strains, and broken bones. Injuries keep o recurring, and players are always receiving health treatments frequently.
  • Sports lead to conflicts; it occurs that matches between two parties might disagree on the winning team, causing division. Some individuals have fragile egos, which causes terrible tempers. It results in fights, which are anti-social behaviors and a challenge as well.

In conclusion, sports can produce an unhealthy level of stress in a child that gets forced into it. A learner ends up feeling to be a failure, which can negatively influence their studies too. Indeed, sports can produce negative role models, and therefore no child must be forced into games.
