Dear listeners, I am pleased to inform you that today is the day we had waited for long—this fantastic award ceremony event sponsored by the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan. “Imagining the European of future,” which was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe, is going to receive their awards. Indeed, hard work pays. We are all aware the Council of Europe was created in 1949 and has managed to bring together around 80 million people from all the 47 countries in. (Europe Robertson,1954). I am glad to inform you that the Council of Europe Has promoted human rights and dignity, the rule of the land, and democracy, and thus today, we are here to celebrate.
The Ministry of Education and Science-based launched the competition in Armenia (Inzelt, 2015). A total of 20 schools with students aged 14 to 18 took part in the game. Out of all the essays, the jury, which included specialists from higher educational institutions and academic communities, only selected three essays.
The first-place winner, Anita Nabeel, has been awarded a diploma with an invitation to attend the 70th-anniversary commemorative event in Strasbourg in October.
The second-place winner, Reuben Mitta, and the third-place winner Abdul Nassir have been given certificates of participation and various gifts from the Council of Europe.
The head of the Council of Europe, Natalia Voutova, has congratulated the three winners of the national competition. She has also wished them success in all their future endeavors. Ms. Natalia has highlighted the importance of protection of human rights and the involvement of the young people in the process. The chair lady has encouraged the winners to continue developing their talents.
We are optimistic that the Council will organize another colorful event like this before the year ends to nature the talents of young people who have a passion for writing.
