Advancement in technology has led to the innovation of E-learning, whereby students do not have to attend traditional classes to acquire knowledge. E-learning has made education easy, enabling a student to access learning material remotely from anywhere in the world. However, there are several challenges, which hinder the effective transmission of knowledge to students using the internet. Therefore, online learning skills are essential for any student in a higher learning institution because they will enable the student to learn more effectively (Gilbert, 2015). Students should develop E-learning skills, which will enable them to develop strategies that will facilitate smooth learning. Even though E-learning has several challenges, a couple of strategies and resources may be used to face these difficulties, facilitating a good learning experience for online students.

Potential Challenges to Online Students

Online learning may be difficult, making the students experience a couple of challenges. Among the challenges that online students may face is time management. It may be difficult for an online learner to manage his or her time well to finish some of the assignments and discussion required for successful online learning, which may lead to failure of the class (Islam, Beer, and Slack, 2015). Another challenge that online learners may experience is adaptability struggles. Students who were used to learning in a traditional classroom may find it difficult to adapt to online learning, making the learning experience overwhelming.

Strategy and Online Learning Resource That May Enhance E-Learning Experience

Many strategies may be used to make online learning more effective. One of the strategies that a student may use to experience online learning more effectively is effective time management. Managing time effectively may enable a student to successfully learn, as he or she will allocate enough time to review the learning resources and to complete discussions and assignments in time, improving the learning experience of the student (Gilbert, 2015). A student may use time management skills to allocate enough time to read and analyze the learning materials equipping him or her with the content required. By planning and managing time effectively, an online student will be able to set aside enough time to complete assignments and projects using knowledge gathered from reading the weekly resources (Islam et al., 2015). Personal Weaknesses

I have a few weaknesses that need to be improved to ensure that I successfully pass this online class. The first weakness is time management, as I have a full-time job, which requires a lot of time. Time management is my weakness because it may be difficult to juggle between work and school. However, I will ensure that I allocate enough time to go through the weekly resources and complete what is required in time. The other weakness that I have is technical issues.
