In the diabetic setting, I will use the WHO stepwise approach. The WHO approach will be robust in my surveillance because it provides an easier way to collect small amounts of quality data that can be used continuously through the other steps. Data collected in step 1, such as diet, activity, and medical history on diabetic people, can be used in other stages to effectively evaluate the prevention, treatment, and management of diabetes.
