Technology Advancement in Education Sector
According to the reading, it is arguable that we are living in an era where the rate of technological advancement is too fast that we fail even to understand their implications to humans. The impacts of technology advancement have ruined some of the social setups. Notably, people have been unable to focus or take a look at the adverse effects of technological advancement but only look at and appreciate the positive aspects. However, the negative implication seems to outdo the positive implications.
Looking at technological advancement in the education sector, it was developed to improve learning activities such as distance learning and promoting research. However, the improvement has negatively impacted education by opening up breaches for cheating in exams. To begin with, the student uses social media until they forget to do their studies. When the time for exams comes, students are assisted in doing their assignments through the online academic assistance experts. In return, the student passes their exams without any effort. When these students get to the workplace, they are unable to implement what they studied in school (Amin, 2019). Their work performance cannot relate to what their academic papers reveal about them. This aspect describes how technology has negatively influenced the workplace. Unfortunately, the technology is still to advance, and therefore the implications are likely to eve get worse.
The solution to the cheating problem in the education sector is through the regulation of the use of technology in studies. Once learning is taken back to regular, the student will see the need to take their studies seriously. Besides, the breaches of cheating in the exams will be closes. Hence institutions will produce graduates with real skills to take up their roles in the workplace.
