The Redshift is a very efficient, fully accomplished petabyte-scale information warehouse package that is manageable and cost-effective in the analysis of data employing elements of artificial intelligence. The software has a capacity to handle datasets from gigabytes to a petabyte costing less than $ 1,000 per terabyte annually (Amazon, 2020). A redshift is an automated software that performs most administrative tasks such as configuring, backing up, data warehousing replacing many managers.

In the past, the roles played by the software were complicated and time-consuming, requiring many senior managers to organize and carry out an analysis. More than 500 fortune companies have picked up Amazon Redshift due to numerous advantages it is attributed to it.  According to Director, Pfizer Inc, Redshift has been picked because of performance and scale increasing efficiency and eliminating time wastage and large staff number by a factor of five (Silva, 2019). Numerous companies can now employ the technology to afford storage and manipulation in nearly a limitless pool of data in near real-time. The software has thus reduced the number of senior managers required to perform those tasks..

Chubbies is another clothing startup targeting college fraternities that have employed technology to eliminate the CEO position. The company has four co-CEOs instead, who are in charge of specific business functions. The management structure is repeated down the organizational hierarchy. Employees can enter the same data as their top managers. The Chubbies trade has been further adopted by Zappos.com that in 2013 eliminated more than 1,500 personnel adopting an Holocracy model allowing workers to manage themselves without top management (Laudon, 2007). Other organizations such as Treehouse Island Inc. and online coding schools have eliminated most management positions allowing technology through email and other communication services to play that role.

In conclusion, technology is taking up most senior management positions. The management software in Chubbies, Zappos.com, Treehouse Island Inc. and online coding schools have further eliminated the need for senior managers. Technology is thus an efficient, accurate tool that is replacing much personnel in the industry.
