The American Civil War was America’s bloodiest and the most divisive kind of conflict that the nation has experienced in history. The war which had some of the most significant impacts on the lives of most Americans, especially from the South, did resolve some of the unresolved problems that had been left hanging by the revolution. At the end of the war which lasted for a considerably a shore period did result in the deaths of over 620,000 persons with over millions of Americas injured and the South left in Ruins. Historical Impacts of the War.
The American Civil War was fought between the northern states of the Americas, which was referred to as the union and the southern states of America referred to as the Confederates. The union did want to stop the element of slavery that was going on at this time in USA. On the other hand, the southern states people did want the aspect of slavery to continue in the country as it did form the more significant basis of their economy[2]. As a result of this conflict of interest which was witnessed in the country, people over 600,000 died and more other 400,000 were greatly wounded. The majority of these who were engaged in the fighting were from the South, and the more excellent element of this fight did take place in the South. Most of the southern states were devastated by this war which did change much of the american historical element.
Historically, the war was very significant to the settlement of the west as it did make it possible for the government of the country to pass two critical acts which changed much of the American lives. Before this war, the southern states and the northern states of America did disagree over how America’s west was to be settled. According to the other countries, they did want the ordinary free individual and families to be able to create their own farms. The southern states on the other hand did have a varying opinion. They wanted slavery to be legalized in the west. This conflict of interest did make it difficult to pass any formal acts with regard the American west as the vote was always divisive. Historically, this dividing opinions between the two regions did make the element of slavery change from what it was initially was at the end of the war[3].
The American Civil War had one of the most significant impacts on American society and polity than any other event ever witnessed in the country’s history. It was considered one of the most traumatic experiences seen by any generation of Americas. The war did claim the lives of over 2% of the American population in 1862[4]. The war which was ignited by a war which had occurred 15 years earlier, the Mexican- American War was based on the question whether the slavery activities could expand 700,000 acquire miles of former territory that had been received by the US in 1848. The war did change the state of the slavery of the country with the Southern and the northern states fighting over the right of ending and retaining slavery in the country. Historically, the journey of the abolishment of slavery in the country can be attributed to the outcome of this war.
The first historical element which was solved by this war which was left unresolved by the American Revolution and constitution was the question of whether this newly born republic in the world of kings, emperors and oligarchy could survive. The republican experiments had been launched earlier in 1776 which was a relatively gargle entity. The founding fathers were very fearful of these prospects for the survival. Despite the fear, the war did result in the survival of the country, America. The victory of the northern states, the union from the war did preserve the nation that was created in 1776[5]. After the war, none of the states which did appear dissatisfied states or the region has over the history of America tried to secede. As a result of the war which took place in the country the problem which had been left by the hanging and unresolved by the state. To date, it can be considered that despite the impacts of the war on ending American slavery and the torture that most slaves used to undergo, the war did define the whole American nation.
The tremendous rate of death, which was witnessed in the country as a result of this was has a massive impact on the American population. Historically, some of the linages of the American people were wiped out by the civil War[6]. Most soldier, especially who did participate in the war either lost whole linages as a result of the war which was indiscriminative in action. Some religious America at this time did struggle to understand how the Benevolent God could let this unfortunate incident to take place in the first place. Historically some individual American at the same time did stop believing in God for having a feeling that God had failed them by letting the Civil War take place.
Despite the withdrawal of the southern states withdrew from the country to create their own confederacy, the passing of the laws by e northern states did proceed. The northern states passed two acts at the end of the war, which have had some of the most significant impacts on the settlement of the west. These laws were; the Homesteads act of May 1862 and the pacific railways acts of (July 1892). The two bills have had some of the massive impacts on the US to date. The historical justices which have been influenced by these acts in America did see the harsh treatment of slavery end in the USA. Besides, the Americans have in the also experience some other opportunities in terms of settlement in the country which were never in existence before the war[7].
Historically, the American War did define the boundaries of the state and in a more significant extent, did define the social, political and economic. The democracy which has been seen in the country from its independence can significantly be attributed to the war. Before the war, the socio-economic and cultural systems had competed for the dominances within the body politics of the country, American agricultural society based on the element of slavery against the entrepreneurial capitalist society which was based on free labour. Despite the retrospect the triumph of greed labor capitals appears to have in all means investable. It did care for most of the antebellum era[8]. The American civil war did reform as rest of this victory by the northern states. Were it not for the Confederates success in the War, America might have never emerged as the world’s largest economy and the foremost democracy that the country enjoys and celebrate to the moment[9].

The 1861-1865 American civil war was the country’s most significant event in history. The war, which lasted for only four years continues to have massive impacts on the country’s historical development. The element of social, economic and political development of the country today can be associated directly to the effects of the war close to centuries since its occurrence. The war did define America and above all did resolve some of the most significant issues which American did believe were left unresolved by the more substantial revolution of America. As a result of this, war is the most regarded American civic activities. The battle can be attributed to the American civil war. The war, which resulted in the massive population loss in the country, has been found out to become with the most significant historical impact ever in the US.
