Columbian exchange came from the initial traveler Christopher Columbus in 1492 who started a period of huge scale interaction between the old and the new world resulting in the ecological revolt.

The Columbian Exchange economically affected the world since mercantilism thrived when it was established. This enabled the plants to find a climate similar to their native climate. Secondly, the isolation of the two regions produced distinct evolutions of parasites, pests, and plants. When it came to animals the Americans borrowed eagerly from Eurasian, animals like cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs.

Politically, the European spreading out into the North American continent conveyed a huge amount of riches to Europe, condensed mostly, in the hands of Great Britain, France, and Spain. Since there were dissimilarities in the governing arrangements of the three countries, Spain wasted most of its wealth, France placed a maximum of it in the monarchies and the aristocracy hands, and Britain, although barely equalitarian, allowed some of the wealth splash over and into the hands of a growing middle class. France had a lot of power intense in the monarchy that it was capable of building and sustaining a powerful military, which allowed it to keep its status as a world power. Great Britain put enormous resources from its colonial riches into its navy, which allowed it to become the leading naval power in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and the world’s only superpower.
