The different cultures in the United States
The different cultures in the United States have different cultures that portray various values in their daily activities. One culture that is selected in this paper is the Asian culture that is one of the customs in the country. One of the values shown by this culture is the concern with the economic prosperity and well-being of the community. Based on this value, the population works towards economic growth through hard work (Schwartz, 2012). The individuals from the community focus on economic growth to make sure that the living conditions of the people are improved. Social economics focused on the Asians include economic development, financial freedom, and political economy. The economic growth of the community is enhanced, therefore the well-being of the society.
The other value that is selected is the one by the Native Americans. The individuals from this culture highly consider the equality and acceptance of all individuals. The lives of Native Americans are guided by justice, and every person is handled with equality (Bond, 1996). The autonomy of individuals is considered and respected by each other. No one is supposed to undermine the other based on race or origin, and therefore equality is enhanced. The abilities of one group of individuals are not compared with the other. A comparison of the capabilities can make some to undermine others, and inequality would be evident. The leaders in the Native American culture also have ensured that there is equality through equal distribution of resources. Equitable distribution of resources ensures that all the individual grow equally based on the economy. The culture of native America has ensured that the community treats each other with respect.
