THE FACILITIVE CONDITIONS
Carl Rogers recognized the tendency of humans’ self-actualization and a positive view of psychology that allows our desire to develop and engage in self-exploration of behaviors, feelings, and beliefs to empower and facilitate the client in developing process and able to current and future challenges. He also believes that to come up with the conditions for a change of the client, the therapist should be genuine and understanding. EMPATHY
Empathy is the condition of the therapist to learn with sensitivity to the feelings and experiences of the client. Rogers knows that humans can resist change, but through working to understand life through another person’s perspectives. This means that we invite change in ourselves. UNCONDITIONS POSITIVES REGARDS
Rogers believed that for the client to grow and learn their potentials, there must be vital that must be valued as an individual. The therapist must maintain a positive attitude to the client. RESPECT
