The Importance of Education and Our Role
Introduction:
On March 8, a total of India’s educational conference was held at Shibli Academy, Azamgarh, in which the intellectuals, prominent teachers and administrators of India and abroad raised the question,
What kind of knowledge can be especially effective in addressing the oppression and backwardness of the Muslim minority?
Naturally reminiscent of the period, the festive and quiet atmosphere of the Shibli Academy. Not when it was meant for material gain or economic necessity, but for human happiness. His greatness was not the wealth and material prosperity but the height of thought and morality and the depth of knowledge. They were obsessed with the principles of eating less, sleeping less and doing more work, and being rich with richness of heart. The services they have performed in various scientific and intellectual sciences, it is astonishing to see how the wood pens and mustard or olive lamps performed well in the light of the lighting. What is the purpose of contemporary education?
With the industrial revolution of the 7th and 8th centuries and the confusion of humanitarian thought, history began a new era of humanity. This is called Renaissance. Soon the effects of this were felt all over the world. But first and foremost the European countries were feisty, a negative aspect of which was the capture of the whole world by imperialism. Nevertheless, the number of intellectuals in the field of thought and mentally retarded, which was already low, has now diminished. The main reason for this is that, instead of art, other disciplines have become the social, and economic need of every person and every society. The first task was taken with the sword. It is now taken with a pen. But regrettably, despite having the privilege of leading the world in rational sciences, we kept seeing this change from afar and could not integrate ourselves with this new revolution in a timely fashion, pushing it to the position of prestige both globally and regionally. Despite the plethora of riches, the Muslim world was forced to stand on the slums of the Gentiles. Wherever sovereignty is apparently in our hands, our fate is decided by the Gentiles, as recent events in Egypt have cleared. Some of our classes were swept away in this revolution, embarrassed by their own identity and disassociated with their values. On the contrary, we dug around ourselves so that the air of modernity could not enter it. The winners are in this century and think the ears are in the atmosphere of the past. As a result, our unconscious and permanent concern is trampled upon by individuals.
What should we teach children?
According to Professor Mujeeb we need an educational system that is a blend of both faith and knowledge. Scholar Shabli Nomani said the same thing. Neither old-fashioned seminary education is sufficient for us nor is it modern. On the contrary, there is a system that embraces modern methods of teaching and is inundated with both religious and modern sciences. Obviously we cannot know the pride of engineers, doctors and administrators for our nation and nation, who are neglecting the requirements of faith and non-conforming to morals. But it is also not practically possible for one to get the same degree in both modern and Shariah sciences. So, depending on the personal aptitude and interest of the children, it is important to decide which child to read. His progress will determine where he can go.
Summary
These decisions cannot be left to the will of the heritage. But getting acquainted with modern sciences does not mean that children are irrespective of their beliefs and values. Anyway, as is happening nowadays. There will be centers in your mosques where children get to know religion. In these centers too, conscience, enlightened seminaries should be employed.
