 the incarnation

In the Christian theology, the incarnation is the belief that Jesus Christ who is the second person of the trinity was made of flesh where he was conceived in the womb of a woman who was the Virgin Mary. It is also known as a God the son and the doctrine of the incarnation, which dates that Jesus is fully God as well as a full human. From a traditional point of view, the incarnation is defined by those churches which follow the council of Chalcedon, the divine nature of the son was united but not mixed with human nature. In the divine being who is Jesus Christ, being truly God and truly man. It is central to the traditional faith that is held by most Christians. Other views on the sublime have been proposed throughout the centuries even though they have all been rejected through mainstream Christian bodies. The incarnation is always commemorated and celebrated annually at Christmas and references made to the feats of the annunciation; various aspects of the mystery of incarnation are celebrated in the annunciation and Christmas. Hence, incarnation means the act of preexistence of divine people; the son of God is a human being. Even though most Christians argues that Jesus is the son of God, the topic on the divinity of Christ is theologically charged for the early church.

Soteriology- Salvation and sanctification.

Sanctification means being sanctified or being made holy. It is a procedure which the new nature and spirituality leave out when one gets saved. It involves the process of becoming as holy as our heavenly father. Hence, it is clear that sanctification is not way any condition of receiving salvation. Still, instead, it is a natural function of a person who is spiritually alive and are seeking the heavenly father and have a genuine desire to be like him. Sanctification starts when none is born again. Hence, sanctification is what happens when one gets salvation which helps in restoring the relationship with God. One gets born again, and they are granted a new heart and spirit. One is granted a fresh mind and victory in addition to God’s working through the salvation destroying the agents of sin and the sin itself. When one gets born again, they are regenerated and are adopted in God’s family hence becoming a new creation. Additionally, one develops a hunger and desire to read God’s word, which bears good fruits. It also helps one is having a love for God and other people where they are willing to sacrifice and give up everything for the service of God. One becomes disciplined and obedient to God where after salvation, God teaches us how to refrain from sin, works and good deeds. Hence, salvation – sanctification makes one acknowledge that God is the greatest treasure.

Distinguish dogma from doctrine

Dogma refers to what one must believe in being a follower of Christ that’s is being a Christina. It decision made by a consensus of the church in the original ecumenical church councils. It is connected to the trinity, which is the dual nature of Christ. People do not have the opportunity or space for changing the decision. If one tries changing it, then they cannot term themselves as a Christian.

An example is on dogma is the teaching which was written in blood. This is something which no one changes, so it remains as it was written during the early days with blood. On the other hand, doctrine refers to any different beliefs which one can disagree on and still be a Christian. They are essential and not essential. It brings the difference between various denominations. However, problems arise when one raises the existing doctrines to the level of dogma. For a fact one can never be saved unless they believe this. There are examples of doctrine like having an understanding of the Holy Communion, apostolic succession and mechanism of atonement. A key instance on doctrine refers to all the teachings which are written in pen, which means that doctrine can be changed, but dogma can never be changed.

Further, dogma is always particular, which includes an emphasis on the idea that teaching is incontrovertible and cannot be disputed and denied. On the other hand, the doctrine is the teaching which is established and agreed upon, but they can be changed and not necessarily rigid and unchanging. In other words, dogma refers to the set of principles that are laid down by the Christian authority as incontrovertibly true, while doctrine is the belief which is held and taught by a church and other groups. One must follow the dogma which God has set before you while the church comes in acceptance of the doctrine before they are established in the church.

Resurrection

The resurrection, which sometimes is referred to as anastasis is the concept of coming back to life after death.  The resurrection of Jesus refers to the Christian belief of God raising Jesus after the crucifixion, which was the first of the dead, where he then began his exalted life as Lord and Christ. From Christian theology, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ acted as one of the most important events serving as the foundation of Christina life. Easter annually commemorates it. The resurrection of Jesus Christ serves as a guarantee that every Christian who dies will be resurrected at the second coming of Jesus Christ. In the Christina tradition, bodily resurrection means the restoration of life on a transformed body which is powered by the spirit just the same way Paul and the gospels describe it. It led to the establishment of Christianity. Trough secular and liberal Christian scholarship then appearances of Jesus can be explained as visionary experiences which gives confidence in the belief of exaltation of Jesus. Additionally, it focuses on the resumption of the missionary activity of Jesus followers.

Resurrection is essential to the Christian life. It serves as the central truth of the Christian faith. Without the resurrection, then there is nothing like Christian faith. Hence, it serves as a focal point of the Christian faith. Additionally, the transformation serves as the central teaching of the apostles. In the early churches, resurrection served as a substance for the Christian teachings. It is logical then to claim that resurrection services as the cornerstone of Christianity.  Apart from the main points on the resurrection, it is vital to Jesus identity and very crucial since it helped in confirming the identity of Jesus and for his real character. Additionally, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is essential for the Christian ministry as well as its message. Hence, the resurrection of Jesus Christ gives Christianity hope and a guarantee that even after death, there will be a resurrection.
