Most smartphone users take pride in having the latest model in the market, as advanced camera, display, processor, and usability is part of a new model. However, the question is whether a latest model of smartphone in the market can appeal to the consumers more than its predecessor. One of the latest models is the iPhone 8 plus, which was released as an improvement of the iPhone 8. For the comparison criteria, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus can be compared by their display, camera, battery, and external design. While iPhone 8 Plus could seem to be a more advanced gadget, its pricing makes the iPhone 8 the ideal choice for most users.

The display capacity is the phone’s screen size, clarity of images, and resolution. In this regard, the iPhone 8 is characterized by a 4.7 inch LCD screen with a resolution power of about 1334 by 750 pixels that is a 326-pixel density (Kelly 9). The iPhone 8 series takes the design of its predecessors. However, the deviation arises from the fact that rear and the front glass is customized with increments in the strengthening layer of the screen by deepening 50% more, and sub fitted with steel  (Brownlee 3). The glass is then surrounded by an aero-grade 7000 class aluminum band. Moreover, both the iPhone 8 and 8 plus are fitted with facetime cameras, audio systems at the top of the face side with the home button including Touch ID at the base (Hall 5). The light connector and an additional stereo speaker and microphone are fitted at the bottom edge of the face side. On the left side are the volume and the ring and silent buttons. The backside of the phone contains a single lens camera for the iPhone 8 and two horizontally aligned camera for the plus model with flash (Nolan 760). To this end, the iPhone plus is much larger compared to the iPhone 8 with 6.24 inches by 3.07 inches dimensions and a thickness of 0.3inches as compared 5.54 inches by 2.65 inches dimensions and a thickness of 0.29 inches. A larger phone is difficult to move around with it; hence, the iPhone 8’s smaller external design makes it a preference to most people.
