The Littering Problems

INTRODUCTION:

We had an investigatory research about their reasons on why do margaretians still litter anywhere? we did an investigatory research regarding this matter. We asked them their reasons and opinions about our questions. We did an investigatory research for us to learn and experience this kind of project. We want to know their answers in order to think of ideas that might prevent it. As a student we want to cooperate to help our environment. We want to make our environment neat and clean so, as a student all we can do are to do things like researching or investigating so that we can find a solution through this kind of matters. Some of the major reasons of littering problems at our school was because of the lack of bins, getting influenced, they’re just lazy, because they don’t see trashcans or bins nearby, and etc. We researchers know that some of people are just lazy enough to not throw their trashes properly even though the bins are just there waiting for a trash to come in but most people litter maybe because it just became a bad habit for us and we got used to it, maybe that’s why even if we know that it’s not good we still are doing it over and over again.

 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

We researchers, wanted to know their top 5 reasons on why are they still littering. We did a survey so we can get their reasons and opinions, for us to know how to prevent it, and how to help our environment be clean.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

                    The significance is we experienced is to know the reason of the problem. learned how to be more responsible student, we learned how to influenced them in a right way, to educate them on throwing their trashes. And asking them what if one day our mother nature become uninhabitable because of their irresponsibility.

PROCEDURES

                  We made a draft survey so that we know what we will do in the survey after that on the next days we made a 51 survey for the students. Three students per section from grades 4-12 aside from grade 9. We did this investigatory project at St. Margaret School. We only did our  survey during the time of science class that was at 9-10am during the recess of elementary level, the senior high school also when they got arrived at school. By the time of our recess at 10am we survey the junior high school. We go around from 1^st floor up to the 3^rd floor. While we doing the survey, we take also some pictures so we have some proof that we were doing a survey. We survey at 2 days, after that we counted their answers
