There was also an intent to abolish a 1960s conflict of interest rule which Veterans would bar VA doctors so that they do not teach at for-profit universities while taking advantage of the Veterans (Adams, Sayre & Saini, 2019). An electronic health record is to be set in place to modernize the appointment system, automation of the disability as well as the payment claims systems.
