The rise of Molecular biology by the 19th and 20th century
I always have been inquisitive in the field of Biology and biological sciences. Biology is the study that includes the study of life and millions of species that existed over 5 billion years. The continuous changes in life form, evolution, and its theory have attracted many individuals to give their contribution in this field. The habitat of every species and the study of their physiology and internal morphology have been a significant reason for attraction in this field. The work of great scientists like Sir Charles Darwin, Sir Gregor Mendel, and Sir Robert Hooke are some of the great scientists. The rise of Molecular biology by the 19th and 20th century become a great achievement for the upcoming generation.
I like to concentrate more on practical works than theoretical, and it is one of the major reasons why I am interested in this field. When I was in class 10th in Birla School Pilani I went to BITS pilani for an exhibition on Veeky Baths, the 4th international on multi-model cognition that was organized by the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, department of biological science, BITS pilani KK Birla Goa campus on 15th of December 2017. They explained to us how do the millions of neurons work when we get in contact with cold or hot objects or things. There I developed a great interest in the field of biological sciences. At that seminar, they showed us a presentation on the human brain functioning to a detailed level. In class 11th, I attended Grain Chamber Public school. At there, I opted Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Physical education as main subjects. In class 11th our main focus in biology was on Biological classification, Plant and animal kingdom and Morphology and anatomy of flowering plants I performed practical on study of various kingdoms of plant and animals and their specimens, paper chromatography of plant fluids, various stages mitosis in animal cells (grasshopper) from permanent slides and much more. In class 12th our main focus is on Reproduction, genetics, and ecology. After when my school gets over I use to stay there and perform practical related to the study of flower, parts of flower, study of soil pH and much more related to the modules. In my last 2 years I developed my interest as well as knowledge more in biological sciences with respect to the modules.
Besides my studies in my habits and extracurricular activities, I am interested in Music. I have been playing guitar since I was 14 years old. I learned guitar from a local institute Tarang sangeet Kendra. It is a music academy. I have learned basic music theory there and developed my skills as well as interest in it and I have a junior diploma in Spanish guitar. I started to grunge rock music when I first time listened to Kurt Cobain. He inspired me a lot to develop my further skills and then learned to play songs of that genre. After that, the fretboard of the guitar became my best friend. I have also taken part in the school annual function orchestra. It is all my extracurricular activity as well as a habit.
After completing my B.sc I would like to go for post graduation for further and more detailed knowledge. My actual plan is to become a researcher in the field of biological sciences and to give my contribution in the field.
