The story of freedom According to Jean-Paul Sartre’s Quote

Citing the political thought, the notion in regards to freedom in reference to Jean-Paull Sarte quote, that ‘freedom is what you do, with what’s been done to you.’ The freedom allowing one to execute their wishes falls under the concept of liberty, and according to the political philosophy, the main dominating issue is the question of coercion and disobedience (Jarrett-Kerr, 2010).  For the knowledge I have regarding American Politics, our general views regarding the country have been privately confided. The power is very subtle and highly pervasive, hence curtailing most of us not to speak above our breath or anything related to its condemnation.

Out of experience, I have come to realize that America is no longer the place it used to be.  A man has no freedom to identify their calling and comfortably pursue it because of the associated inabilities to do it.  The reason is I have realized that there exist organizations that are likely to utilize different means against it hence preventing the build-up of the business (Ndubuisi, 2011). Unfortunately, the country has improved the associated world admiration if only it is going to deal with the free opportunities whereby not even a single man should be limited except the character limitations of the mind.  And in this situation, there should never be any given class distinction or social status. Hence, men should be allowed to lose only on merits. Therefore, within the mind, Sartre’s argument on political thought is clear, while the conception of freedom on his words is both philosophical and technical. It is mainly rooted in the questions about freedom. This permeates every aspect of the human condition since existence is tied alongside freedom.

Dating back to the revolution of American, freedom has stood out to be one of America’s bold cultural bonds and its related dangerous fault line. The birthright of a big number of Americans was believed to be a kind of mockery to other people (Jarrett-Kerr, 2010).  According to the narration by Foner Eric, he states that freedom can never be as timeless as the truth since the associated value of its meaning and the scope have, on several occasions, been contested in American history.  Therefore, below is the narration.

The wind and sea competed for the controller of a small My flower boat that waded across the Atlantic Ocean.  Those on boards struggled with the freezing temperatures, highly severe storms, and other associated challenges.  Inside the vessel were both men and women cramped inside a windowless survival space (Jarrett-Kerr, 2010). Some of them were on the run to shield themselves against discrimination based on color and religious persecution.  Before setting for the journey, they had stayed in the United States but without a taste of freedom. They believed not even a single place around the world was going to assure them the capability to live in the manner they wanted.

They battled myriads of challenges along the way, but all through, they focused on attaining something way beyond their individual lives, and that was freedom.  Of course, there were associated physical trials that acted as a small token in order to earn the right to practice what they believed in. It was through their actions that allowed the United States to become the land of Free and Home for Brave and a place where individuals would live exactly the way they wanted (Jarrett-Kerr, 2010).

Dating from the Pilgrims to America’s Founding Fathers the freedom has always been instilled into the society of the United States. Therefore, before Americans trusted that all Men were equally created and were allowed into seeking liberty, life, and pursuing happiness, this was a mindset that spawns on the most powerful democratic nation in history, hence pushing the country to stand out as a symbol of hope and Unity.

Examine the amount of liberty enjoyed by people around the world; freedom is still dwindling despite various countries yearning for it than before. This is a big drop of freedom, which can be related to the parallel conflicts alongside political suppression by the Chinese Government (Ndubuisi, 2011). Therefore, in response to the Sartre, every person is compelled into a choice, which is believed to be the characteristic of every person’s being.  Additionally, freedom is associated with great responsibility, as a result of the fact that it needs to entirely assume that the situation which comes alongside it is the pride of the consciousness as its author.

Therefore the conception of Sartre regarding freedom is too high on the level of integrity, and it does not give rooms for excuses. On a similar note, it is empowering individuals to make their values regarding the future (Ndubuisi, 2011). The freedom should never be used towards exercising totalitarianism or the occupation. The only missing thing in American prosperity and some other societies around the world is the true joy that emanates from freedom. In this regard, individuals are required to free themselves and be able to attain massive potential.  It is a way in which we are able to gain the knowledge of freedom and, at the same time, get restricted by reality and live as we hoped to live.
