The success of the graduation process
As a student, the idea of graduating is the ultimate goal that motivates them to work hard and remain consistent in their studies. Presently, the average completion period for the majority of students is a minimum of four years, depending on the chosen courses. The concept of graduating early is characterized by consistency and sacrifice that allows an individual to save money and get a head start in the job market. The majority of students can graduate before the stipulated period under the guidance of the institution’s management. Moreover, students are taking advantage of the course overloads, winter and summer breaks, as well as the individual’s AP qualifications to qualify promptly. According to Reimold (2013), the focus of graduating early is based on academic goals or general anticipation to join the job environment. Nonetheless, the majority of early graduands are influenced by the opportunity to eliminate the debts. Thus, graduating early is a conscious decision that will affect the future of each student.
The success of the graduation process is dictated by the ability to graduate together as friends. As an individual, the primary struggle is whether I should graduate early or stay with my class and work through the education journey together. As young people, the idea of achieving different milestones together is a fundamental motivator, notably in the education process. The discussion to graduate together began as a story whereby my friends and I talked about attaining this goal as a team. However, the chance to work and graduate before my friends is a point of contention. In my opinion, this is a unique chance to finish my studies promptly and achieve financial objectives by saving money. The idea of missing out on various experiences at school and leaving friends behind has an integral influence on the transition operations. Thus these are aspects that impact the decision making procedure.
Further, the resolve to graduate before my friends provides more chances to earn scholarships. The majority of academic scholarships will likely be available based on the ability to understand and apply knowledge in an educational setting. Additionally, it allows me to take classes that I am passionate about as I strive towards my desired career goals. This approach exposes me to qualifications that will enable competitive strategies as a potential employee. Despite that my friends are upset that we won’t graduate together, this option provides a substantial boost to my self- confidence. The ability to concur academic challenges as I advance from one level to the next eliminates fear and school-based anxiety that limits an individual’s growth and potential. Therefore, the ability to follow my dreams and goals will influence the potential development in the chosen career field.
In conclusion, the concept of graduating early is popular among the majority of students in the country. It allows students to gain an opportunity to venture into different activities earlier than a majority of their peers.
