Step1: Critical Partners
Tidal ventures are a critical partner to Shippit Company in Australia. It is one of the product-minded partner teams in Yahoo search engine and Atlassian, which has backed Shippit company since its establishment in scaling their operations in value creation. One Ventures also was among the firms that injected the latest funding, adding up to over $10 million to continue to build its market-leading position, thus preserve their completive advantage in quick delivery of goods and reduction of the company’s venture debt. Equity Venture Partners (EVP) also provided monetary support to fund the longer-term business strategy that applies technology to maintain its competitive advantage. Another new Venture capital investor partnering with Shippit is Aura Ventures, to augment its business model. Besides, the venture acted to build its competitive advantage as a financial adviser and led in capital injection (Post & Parcel, n.d.).
Besides, Shippit partners with the leading carriers in Asia, such as Aramex, DHL, Singapore Post, and Ninjavan provide merchandise. Also, retailer companies such as Sephora, Cotton on Group, Kathmandu, and CUE, provide an activating strategy in providing the market. The firm entered a partnership with Pitney Bowes, a global technology company, to enhance its technology in shipping, thus, acting as a value creator (Hellen, 2019). It has a partnership with Australia Post with a market share of about 80% of Australia’s postal and delivery market. The connection is essential in enhancing its technology in the delivery of goods by specifying timeslot delivery and GPS tracker on ordered products to avoid misdeliveries, thus acting to increase its value and maintaining a competitive advantage.

One Ventures, Equity Venture Partners, Aura Ventures, and Tidal Ventures provided financial support (monetary resources) to maintain a competitive advantage for Shippit and, in turn, gain respective percentage profit from the investment. Besides, Aura Ventures gave value to the firm by providing financial advisories in capital investment. Leading carriers in Asia such as Singapore post and DHL providing supplying services to access markets and, in return, get revenue from sales and advertising (relational and human resource). Partnered companies like Sephora provide income, and in turn, Shippit offers delivery services. Pitney Bowes, a global technology company, provides technological services (structural and human resources), and Shippit provides it with revenue. Australia Post provides technical services (structural and relational resources), and in return, Shippit enhances its shipping services (Rowley, n.d.).

In maintaining a competitive strategy and advantage, partnership with One Ventures, Tidal Ventures, Aura Ventures, and Equity Venture partners was critical in enhancing the firm’s competitive strategy through their financial cushioning Post & Parcel, n.d.). In maintaining a competitive advantage, partnering with Australia Post is also unique in improving their service delivery through technological inputs and acquisition of crucial technical information and operational structures.
