The World View of Islam

A world view of the way people perceive and interact with the world. World view does not mean the physical aspect, but it refers to the philosophical perspective. The world refers to animate, inanimate and metaphysical realities. The world view is focused on trying to seek, comprehend, adopting and living with the truth. This truth h will thus be manifested in the world both in its simplest form and in its complicated form. A person’s world view comprises of their most critical assumption and set of beliefs concerning the world that we live in. It includes how a person would answer the question concerning the origin of human beings and what human beings are. A world view is also involved in comprehending the fundamental questions that appertain to issues dealing with the purpose for which man was created, the nature of life after death and hat are considered to be a good life on earth.  The world view of a person will attempt to answer these questions regarding a particular faith.   They will influence the answers that a person is going to receive.  This essay will focus on the world view of   Islam.

Concerning the question of origin, the Muslims believe that the earth and the creatures were created in six days, but this raises confusion as to whether the period refers to days or they refer to something else. According to the Quran, they believe that man originated from Allah, who created the first man and woman who were called Adam and Eve.  The Quran states that Adam was created from the soil, but eve was created from the rib of Adam (OMER, 2019).  They believe that after Adam was created, they were placed in paradise but later they were expelled from it because they sinned. The Quran does not give the exact details concerning the creation of everything.   With some verses noting that things were created form water.

Muslims believe that there is only one authentic course of truth which is the creator.  It is believed that man is limited a cannot understand all the things in the world. Therefore, they need to be guided in understanding the different aspects of their lives.  Huda refers to the revelation that man get s from Allah (OMER, 2019). This is an indication that will get guidance form all regarding how they live and what the will of Allah is. Allah also gives man furqan, which is the ability to distinguish between what is right and hat is wrong and between truth and falsehood.

The Islam religion is guided by some core values and beliefs that shape the way they see things.  The fundamental beliefs include believing in one God. This is the most crucial aspect of their faith that they should only serve one god. The religion also believed in angels.   These agents who administer the kingdom of God in full obedience. They also believe in prophets.  They not that Allah sends his prophet so that they can communicate to human beings about the will of God. the religion also believes in the day of judgement where they believe that the world will come to a need at an appointed time. They believe that all men will be raised from death and will judged according to what they had done (Mufti, 2019). They also believe that God will show mercy and fairness in his during this judgment. Those who did good will be rewarded eternally while those who have done evil will be punished forever.   They also believe in destiny the divine decree.  They believe that nothing happiness unless it has been allowed by God.  these beliefs are fundamental in determining how the Muslims will deal with issues surrounding them. They believe in the books that Allah has revealed to his prophets.  They believe in the Torah, psalms and gospel books.  They are included in the Quran, which is the final revelation that God revealed to the prophet Mohammed.

Five pillars guide the Muslim faith.  The pillars are meant to emphasize that worship is part of daily life as opposed to rituals alone.   The pillars of Islam include declaration of the faith.   This declaration emphasizes that no person should be worshipped except Allah and Mohammed the message that Allah sent.   Furthermore, this declaration should go beyond reciting to actions.  There is also a pillar of daily prayer, where Muslims are required to make five prayers a day (Mufti, 2019). there is also Zekah, where they believe that wealth is a blessing that comes from God. This comes with it some responsibilities towards the less fortunate. It is, therefore, the duty of the worth of taking care of the less privileged.  They also believe in the fast of Ramadhan, where they recommend fasting for a whole month.   There is a person where the faithful are involved in intense deviation to Allah. During this period, they do not take food, drink or have sex.it meant to help the Muslim practice self-control and be focused on prayers. The fifth pillar is the hajj, where they make a trip to Mecca at least once in their lifetime. This is current day Saudi Arabia which a period of an intense spiritual experience for them.

The sharia law is a crucial belief fir the Muslim even though it is an issue of contention. It is a very significant belief and value with the faith and therefore, the need to understand how the law is interpreted and the subsequent application.   Different Muslims win different parts of the world will apply sharia law differently. According to most of the Muslims, they believe that the sharia law represents the word of God as opposed to the law that was developed by man (Mufti, 2019).    They regard it as significant guidance that should be applied in the governing of the state. However, this view will vary from one country to another.

Concerning the question of morality, almost all the Muslims seems to agree on the need for Muslims to be moral. Generally, Muslims agree on some moral codes such as avoiding drinking of alcohol, avoiding idolatry, committing suicide, lesbianism and gays.   They consider such acts as being immoral.   However, there may be a vibration regarding moral questions that relate to marriage and the family.  For example, some Muslims believe that divorce is moral, while others believe that divorce is not moral.   Such issues will vary from one region to another.

According to Islam, the core reason as to why the man was created was to worship God, just like Christianity and Judaism, Muslims believe in one god who should be worshipped.   They are supposed to worship the lard.   They believe that man should follow the book of prophesy   so that man may know how to fulfil the will of Allah.  The Quran and the law were given by God and they help the Muslims in living the good life. Furthermore, the guidance that they receive from Allah helps them to full their purpose in life of worshipping God. A person who can serve God in the right way, they are rewarded by finding peace and happiness in life, which will be accompanied by wealth success and respect form the members of the community (Patheos religion library, 2008).  this will make be blessed by God and also be a blessing to the people in the sphere of their lives.

Conclusion

Like a person wearing lenses, the world view of people will affect the way they see and address things in life. The Islam religion is governed by some care beliefs that they believe are paramount for their faith. They believe in God, the gales, prophets, books that have been revealed by God, and they believe in the day of judgment.   They have five core pillars of declaring their faith, praying daily, Zekah, Ramadan, and hajji.  They also believe that God is real and moral, and hence people should follow his standards as outlined in the Quran.  They also believe that man originated from God and was created form the earth. He was given the purpose of serving God after which he would be rewarded by God, by having a peaceful life and get a lot of wealth which would earn him respect.  They believe that sharia is a crucial part of their laws which should be followed.  However, the significance of sharia will vary from one region to another.
